A bunch of new Costco stores are coming soon

A chain of stores popular with bargain hunters has unveiled a major expansion it will embark on in the coming months. As many as 28 new Costco stores open over the rest of the year, including nearly a dozen in just a few months.

It’s the kind of thing that can be interpreted as an indication that things are slowly but surely returning to normal and that we are moving away from the lean years of the pandemic. Talking about that, the Costco chain also recently removed the special opening hours he got his start precisely because he wanted to help specific shoppers during the pandemic. We’ve got all the details below, meanwhile, on new store openings – specifically, where they’re coming from and when.

You can keep up to date with new announcements from Costco stores here, on the Membership Club’s “Upcoming New Locations” page. The first is Costco’s newest store in Utah which will open later this month (May 19). Other locations, including some outside of the United States, are:

These new international store sites reflect the fact that Costco has millions of paying members worldwide. New stores, of course, serve this base and also help attract new paying members. And about this membership, especially its price, you might be wondering what is needed for someone to take advantage of all these hard to pass up offers.

How much does a Costco membership cost?

A “Gold Star” membership, which lets you shop online and in Costco store warehouses, costs just $60 per year. It also included two membership cards. If you don’t mind paying a little more, there’s also an “Executive” level membership tier that costs $120 per year. Its benefits include a 2% annual reward, as well as discounts on Costco services. As well as two membership cards and the ability to shop online and in warehouses at Costco stores, among other perks.

Among the membership attractions are all the deals you can’t get anywhere else. And there are new specials being launched all the time. For example, Alpha Foods’ The new Meatless Sausage Breakfast Bowl is debuting at select Costco stores in Southern California for a limited time only, starting May 9.

According to a press release, the breakfast bowl is 100% plant-based and egg-free. This ready-to-use bowl is also packed with ingredients like juicy red and green peppers, potatoes, and savory meatless sausage. The product will be presented in 21 Costco locationsin the Los Angeles, Orange County and Inland Empire markets.
