Overview of the Qatar Motor Museum

An exhibition honoring the Qatar Auto Museum that will feature three spectacular cars celebrates the mission to advance culture and inspire the next generation of innovators, designers, engineers, collectors and makers through a passion common for cars. The NMoQ lagoon area will feature cars on loan from several prominent members of Qatar’s automotive community and the Qatar Auto Museum Advisory Board until April 9, 2022.

Pipilotti Rist “Your brain for me, my brain for you”,

A first in the Middle East, a new large-scale installation by internationally renowned Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist “Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You”. A key feature of the installation are the “pixels” which include 12,000 LED lights strung on cables throughout the gallery for visitors to navigate. Ticket (free) Reservation required

Mahaseel Festival

No less than 39 companies are participating in the festival this year — 25 local farms; seven poultry, meat and dairy producers; and seven crèches. Prices vary from QR 3 to QR 10 per kilo depending on the type of product. There are also six food stalls selling pastries, pancakes, tea, and juice. If you are looking for something sweet, honey and date stalls are also set up.

When: The Mahaseel Festival will run until Saturday, March 12, Saturday. Meanwhile, the Mahaseel souk will continue until May 15 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Seeroo Fi-Al Ardh”

“Seeroo Fi-Al Ardh” is a permanent 20-minute art show of the late international artist Maqbool Fida Hussein’s latest creation that tells the story of human development that began with him walking the earth upright to discover the marvelous creation of God, then his exploitation of nature, then of machines, to inhabit the earth over the centuries.

Free admission and children under 12 are not permitted entry, per MoPH restrictions. Registration is required via the Education City app
